Check-in is from 3:00 PM and there is no cut-off, so a late arrival is no problem. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Direct guests get first priority for an early check-in from 1:00 PM and a late check-out until 12:00 PM, subject to availability on the day.
There is no key handover and no waiting around. Both chalets have a smart lock, and your personal door code arrives automatically about three days before arrival, together with directions and parking details. You also get a link to the short online registration form that is required by law in Bavaria.
Yes. Both chalets have fast Wi-Fi throughout the house, plus a dedicated workspace and a wired LAN connection if you need to get some work done.
Yes, and it is free. Each chalet has its own garage on the property, including a charging point for electric cars. You can leave the car there for the whole stay, because the town centre and the train station are both a short walk away.
If you booked directly with us, you can cancel free of charge within 48 hours of booking, even on non-refundable rates. After that the terms of your rate apply. If your plans change, message us. We will always try to find a solution.
Yes, pets are welcome. Up to two pets per chalet, for a small fee per pet per stay. Just tell us when you book so we can have the house ready for them. The garden and the paths along the stream start right outside the door.
Both chalets are non-smoking inside, but you are welcome to smoke outside on the terrace or in the garden. No parties or events, please, and quiet after 10:00 PM out of respect for the neighbours. Each chalet takes a maximum of 6 guests.
Yes. Garmisch-Partenkirchen charges a visitor's tax (Kurtaxe): 3 EUR per night for guests aged 16 and over, 1 EUR for children aged 6 to 15, free for under 6. It is paid at check-in, by cash or card, and it includes the GaPa guest card with free travel on local buses and discounts on many attractions.
You have the whole house: three bedrooms for up to six guests, 2.5 bathrooms, a private sauna, a full kitchen with Miele and WMF appliances, washing machine and dryer, a living room, a dedicated workspace, and a garden with terrace, barbecue and mountain views. Premium bed linen, shampoo, body soap and shower gel are provided.
Yes, children of all ages are welcome. A cot is available free of charge on request for ages 0 to 2, and there is a high chair with padding, straps and a food tray. The garden gives children plenty of room to play. Please keep an eye on little ones near the stream at the bottom of the garden.
By car it is about 90 minutes from Munich on the A95, and each chalet has its own garage. By train, the station is only 300 m away, with connections from Munich in around 90 minutes. Munich Airport is roughly 75 minutes by car or about 2 hours by train, and Innsbruck Airport is about 60 minutes by car.
The town centre with its restaurants, bakeries and shops is a five-minute walk, and so is the town hall. The Zugspitze railway terminal is 750 m away, and the lifts are close by: Eckbauerbahn 1.8 km, Wankbahn 2 km, Hausbergbahn 2.1 km. Hiking and cycling routes start right outside the door.
Often yes. Direct guests get first priority for a 1:00 PM check-in and a 12:00 PM check-out whenever the calendar allows. If the chalet is occupied the night before or after your stay, you are welcome to drop off or leave your luggage with us.
