Most convenient option

By Car

Take the A95 motorway from Munich (approximately 60 minutes from the city center). Both chalets include private garage parking for your convenience.

Best for flexibility

By Air

Munich Airport (MUC) is 90 minutes away by car or 2 hours by train. Innsbruck Airport (INN) in Austria is also nearby at 60 minutes by car.

International access

Holidays with Your Dog.

Dogs are welcome in both chalets. Here is what you need to know for a holiday with your dog in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

At the Chalet

Up to two dogs per chalet, for a small fee per pet per stay. The garden and the paths along the stream start right outside the door.

Just tell us when you book

Zugspitze and Cable Cars

Dogs can ride the cog railway and cable cars of the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn with their own dog ticket. A muzzle is recommended in the large cabins, and the metal grate steps on the summit terrace are hard on paws.

Valley station: a 12-minute walk

Partnach Gorge

Dogs on a leash are welcome in the gorge, with their own ticket. The roaring water is very loud, which can be too much for anxious dogs.

Leash required in the gorge

Good to know: in town, large dogs (shoulder height 50 cm or more) must be kept on a leash no longer than 2 m, and they are not allowed on playgrounds (dog ordinance of the Markt Garmisch-Partenkirchen).

Where to eat.

Our favorite restaurants, cafés and shops, with walking times from the chalets, opening hours and map links.
